Directions to Moulin l'évêque
Campeaux is about 4 hours drive from the Channel Tunnel - along quality motorways - and across the impressive new Pont de Normandy, high above the wide mouth of the Seine, as it reaches the sea. It is 45 minutes from the car-ferry at Ouistreham and about one hour and a half from Cherbourg. You can also fly-drive from London Stansted and car rental is reasonable. Flying or coming as foot passenger then hiring a car may work out cheaper and quicker, especially in the low season. One advantage of bringing the car is the ability to purchase cheap wine and beer with the Loire valley, home of Muscadet, Pouilly-Fumé and Sancerre just two hours away.

These are the directions to get to Moulin l'évêque. The gîtes are located on the local D193 road, approximately mid-way between Campeaux and Bény-Bocage. 5 minutes from junction 40 of the A84 which runs between Caen and Rennes - following the signs to Vire for 5 minutes. Enter Campeaux and go down the hill and take a left at the bottom of the hill signposted Beny-Bocage. Moulin l'évêque is exactly one mile on the right hand side. The A84 motorway is reached from the ringroad in Caen, Junction 8 towards Rennes and Mont St Michel. |
